Responsibilities: I was hired to produce Dynetherm's business forms, documents, sales and product manuals because of my experience with Thermonics. The former president of Thermonics wanted to start a new company based on the products from the previous company. I specified, purchased and installed all of Dynetherm's computer hardware and software from scratch. Once the basic infrastructure was installed my experience with the products and working on previous R&D projects I was promoted to Research and Development Director for new product development. I supervised the construction of all new product prototypes specified their testing procedures & parameters, data recording, graphing, trend analysis, pricing and evaluation. I performed all mechanical and electrical maintenance to our one of a kind Dynefreeze pad laminating machine. I supervised all changes, improvements and their implementation to our production line. I supervised all production, shipping, billing, desktop publishing of all promotional material, as well as the creation and maintenance of our Internet Website. I
assisted in sourcing our outside manufacturers and produced all product
specification drawings.
Reason for leaving: I did not leave. Due to my intimate knowledge of the processes and infrastructure, the purchaser of Dynetherm (Weyerhaeuser International) kept me on and placed me in charge of running the plant.
